After your breast augmentation, it will take some time for your incisions and breast tissue to heal. Not only will your old bras not fit you anymore, they won’t provide your breasts with the gentle support they need while they heal.
In order to ensure that your breasts are properly supported so that your recovery goes as smoothly as possible, you’ll need to wear a compression garment or surgical bra for a time. After a week or two, you can go shopping for new bras that fit your new breast size.
At Gallery Plastic Surgery, we aim to provide our patients with the total care they need. If you’re interested in getting a breast augmentation, contact our office today to schedule a consultation with plastic surgeon Dr. Wendy Wong.
