Meet Dr. Wendy Wong - Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
There are many reasons to choose Dr. Wong for your plastic surgeon!
Of these, we must highlight 2 reasons in particular:
Dr. Wong’s personal approach stands out!
Dr. Wong is committed to providing her patients with excellent care and advanced surgical techniques for the best possible results. She is passionate about using her surgical skills and abilities to help her patients achieve their goals, strengthen their confidence, and improve the quality of their lives.
Dr. Wong takes the time to listen to your concerns at your consultation so that she can discuss your best options. She will answer your questions and help you decide if and when plastic surgery is right for you. As a woman, mother, and patient herself, Dr. Wong regards safety and high quality care as top priorities. You will never feel pressured into having procedures, especially those that are unsafe or unnecessary. Patients tell us how warm she is and how comfortable they feel with her as their plastic surgeon. Most patients say, “I knew right away that this was my surgeon right when I found her online.”
“It is important to me that our clinic is a SAFE and POSITIVE place for our patients. An aesthetic journey is so incredibly personal that patients should feel like they can speak openly about their aesthetic desires without ever being judged.” — Dr. Wong
She had excellent plastic surgery training.
The path to become a board certified plastic surgeon is a long, challenging, and dedicated one. After graduating from University of San Francisco, Dr. Wong completed an additional 11 years of rigorous and intensive training in medicine and plastic surgery. She matched into a competitive integrated and accredited Plastic Surgery Residency program at Loma Linda University Medical Center where she learned cutting-edge techniques for 6 years. At this grueling program, she gained extensive experience in reconstructive surgery, cosmetic surgery, hand surgery, complex craniofacial surgery, emergency trauma care while training with some of the best plastic surgeons in the country. A tremendous advantage of this program is that there are no fellows, meaning that the plastic surgery residents are training one-on-one with the attending surgeons from day 1.
Those who work with Dr. Wong know that she is a perfectionist and that every surgery is a labor of love. She performs each surgery (no matter how big or small) in her head multiple times before the actual day of surgery. Going into surgery, you can feel secure knowing that Dr. Wong detail-oriented, has had extensive training, and will always respect your face and body as your advocate in the operating room.
Dr. Wong has written many plastic surgery research articles that are published in prestigious plastic surgery journals such as Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Aesthetic Surgery Journal, Journal of Craniofacial Surgery, and more. As a noted researcher and distinguished speaker, she has presented her work to many national and regional conferences such as the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The Aesthetic Society, the Plastic Surgery Research Council, and the American Association of Plastic Surgeons. During training, Dr. Wong had earned awards for her research, excellence in patient care, and achievements of high nationwide examination scores (95th percentile).
“I will always strive to be the best plastic surgeon and person I can for my patients, team, and family.” — Dr. Wong
Dr. Wong has helped lead a mission trip to Shimla Sanitarium & Hospital in India to help underserved patients. She performed many complex reconstructive surgeries such as cleft lip repairs and nasal reconstruction for children and adult patients. This volunteer service was a rewarding, life-changing, and unforgettable experience that she will never forget.
When she is not in the operating room, Dr. Wong is at her other favorite job: being a wife and a mother of two!
